Why we started CAMA

CAMA Security is a team of technologists and cybersecurity researchers who spent years working on embedded systems. We saw both the potential of interconnected industrial infrastructure and the gaps that come with it.

As industries got more reliant on connected devices, we kept running into the same problem. Operators had no reliable way to verify the integrity of the sensors, controllers, and workloads their operations depended on. Scanners fell behind. Boot time checks missed runtime tampering. And the smallest, most resource constrained devices got the least attention.

So we built a lightweight attestation protocol that runs on any device, from cloud workloads down to the most constrained microcontrollers, and produces a proof of integrity in milliseconds. That protocol is what powers VeriMarc.
